JT Fusion Cocina — Catering Services Agreement

By placing an order and submitting your deposit payment, you ("Client") agree to the following terms and conditions with JT Fusion Cocina ("Caterer").

1. Proposal Validity

This proposal is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Pricing and availability are subject to change after this period.

2. Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit is required upon signing this agreement to secure your date.
• The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will forfeit the deposit.

4. Delivery & Setup

• Delivery fee covers safe transport from our Hayward kitchen to the event address, driver time, fuel, and basic drop-off placement of food trays.
• This is for delivery only; JT Fusion Cocina does not provide setup, staffing, or cleanup unless otherwise agreed and billed.
• If the venue requires a designated loading dock, parking fees, or special access permits, those costs will be charged to the client.
• If JT Fusion Cocina is asked to wait beyond the agreed delivery window due to client or venue delays, waiting time will be billed at $60/hr.

5. Disposables & Serviceware Responsibility

• JT Fusion Cocina – Bay Area provides drop-off catering only. Our service includes the safe preparation and delivery of food in transport trays or pans.
• Plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and other disposable serviceware are not included unless explicitly added to your order as an optional package.
• If you choose to have JT Fusion Cocina supply disposables, we will provide compostable and locally compliant items per South San Francisco and California food service packaging laws. An additional charge will apply.
• If you supply your own disposables, the client assumes full responsibility for sourcing, compliance, and provision of all serving ware, utensils, cups, and related items.

6. Host / On-Site Staffing (Special Request — requires ownership approval)

• On-site staffing is available by special request and must be approved by JT Fusion Cocina ownership prior to confirmation.
• When approved, one host is provided for 3 hours (1 hour setup, 2 hours service & restock, breakdown support) at $55/hr.
• Host provides light service and restocking only; this is not a full server or bar team.
• Additional staff or hours are invoiced at $60/hr per person.
• Any venue demands for insurance endorsements, parking, or security fees are the client's responsibility and will be billed separately.
• Overtime or delays that extend host time will be billed at the overtime rate above.

7. Leftovers

All unused food and packaging remain the property of the client.

8. Liability & Insurance

JT Fusion Cocina is fully insured for food safety and general liability. JT Fusion Cocina is not responsible for any damages or injuries sustained during the event.

9. Menu Substitutions

• You may request substitutions with at least 10 business days notice.
• All changes are subject to availability and may incur pricing adjustments.

10. Special Diets & Vegan Preparation

• Requests for true vegan or other restricted-diet meals require separate preparation and specialty ingredients. A surcharge of $3.00 per vegan guest will be applied to cover ingredient premium, separate production, and handling.
• Final dietary counts and specifications are due no later than 10 business days prior to the event.
